WARRINGTON Wolves fans will not have to wait long to find out who their team will face and when in the 2020 season.

The Super League fixtures for next year are set to be released on Tuesday, with the competition to follow the same format as the season just finished.

The 12 teams will play each other at least twice, with The Wire facing seven of their rivals three times in 'loop' fixtures.

Warrington have welcomed Leeds Rhinos to The Halliwell Jones Stadium for the opening fixture in each of the past two seasons, with both sides recording a win apiece.

Wire fans will be keen to find out when – or indeed if – their side will cross the Atlantic to face Super League new boys Toronto Wolfpack in 2020.

The Canadian climate and the unavailability of the Wolfpack's Lamport Stadium home until April means Brian McDermott's side will play their first three "home" fixtures in the UK.

Magic Weekend will return to Newcastle next year and The Wire will be hoping to correct their wretched record at St James' Park – they have drawn one and lost three of their visits to Newcastle United FC's home ground.
