YELLOWS made hay in the Bank Holiday sunshine yesterday, securing their first home win of the new season in the process.
Ben Garrity opened his account for 2019-20 with two trademark headers from corners either side of half time as Bamber Bridge were beaten 3-1 at Cantilever Park.
Matthew Chadwick also made it two goals in as many starts for Yellows, for whom Jack Mackreth missed a first-half penalty.
Kieran Charnock pulled a goal back for Brig, but it proved a mere consolation.
