RYLANDS FC kicked off their debut campaign in the North West Counties Football League with a win.
Charnock Richard were sent packing from Gorsey Lane on Saturday, with two goals in five minutes in the second half securing the 3-2 result.
George Lomax (15mins) netted Rylands' first ever goal in the Premier Division, before Carl Grimshaw (30mins) replied for the visitors.
Andy Scarisbrick (64mins) and Jay White (68mins) put the hosts in command.
An 84th minute reply from Nathan Fairhurst put the game back in the melting pot until its conclusion in front of 131 supporters.
