WARRINGTON Wolves fans sang their hearts out for the lads at Bolton to help book an eagerly anticipated showdown with St Helens in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley on August 24.

As in 2018, both semi-finals were played at the same venue - the University of Bolton Stadium - with the Women's Challenge Cup Final making it a triple header this time around.

The experience was different for each Wire fan, who have been sharing their thoughts on the format and whether they believe the Rugby Football League should stick with it in future years or make a change.

Here's what they've been saying on the Warrington Wolves-Warrington Guardian Facebook page:

Aly Lou: Loved it! Stayed for all 3 games with our 4 children. Catering was better than last year but still could be improved.

Brilliant atmosphere!

Paul Emson: Paul Emson Other than the rain it was an enjoyable Saturday. The barnstormers was heaving with all colours and met people who had eaten and drank locally and had a good time. Never used the stadium hospitality facilities. I would have thought with a large concourse surrounding the stadium it would have been an opportunity for top quality street food and the RFL to add something in marketing? I’m sure that they can find local quality partners to work with on these occasions along with diehard RL innovators.

Bec Smalley: I like it personally. I couldn't stay for the 2nd game this year but enjoyed watching the ladies. I can see what people are saying about it not looking good on TV when it's not a full stadium though but I'm not bothered about that 😂

James Dudley: Personally I'd have it at two different grounds. The semi finals should of been the other way round. Ran out of food an drinks again.

Paul Harrison: Would have put the women’s in the middle of the two to give them a few more fans

Ged Upham: I think the venue is fine .. and the games were good .. I think they’re let down by the catering ... similar to magic weekend ... ran out of stuff ... it’s not like football .. league fans can have a drink while watching the match .. they don’t seem to learn the lessons

Martyn Toft: Stick

Julie Maria Dove: Really don’t like Bolton. Queues a mile long, run out of stuff, pies not even a Wigan supporter would eat. Poor.

J And M Building And Home Maintenance: £4.10 for some of the worst beer ive ever tasted but staff sait its only £3 for football games
