A GROUP of talented primary school cricketers have proved themselves to be the toast of Cheshire and too stiff an opposition for everyone they have faced.
The mixed team from St Monica’s Primary School in Appleton have completed an unbeaten season by winning the Cheshire county finals.
Skippered by Aryan Ashish, the team had already swept all before them in the Appleton and Warrington finals.
The girls team also won the Warrington finals and played with great spirit in the county competition.
