INCOMING Warrington Wolves signing Gareth Widdop is set to make his comeback from injury on Friday.
The England half-back has been named in St George Illawarra's team to face South Sydney Rabbitohs as he prepares to play for the first time in four months.
Widdop dislocated his right shoulder for a third time in a victory at Brisbane Broncos in round three of the NRL.
There were fears that the 30-year-old had played his last NRL game but he has recovered quicker than expected.
Widdop has signed a three-year deal with The Wire from next season and news of his recovery will bring about much relief among Wire supporters.
