WARRINGTON Town stepped up their preparations for the new season by drawing with League One side Accrington Stanley.
In their first of two home pre-season friendlies, Yellows acquitted themselves well against professional opposition as many of their players completed 90 minutes.
Both sides had their chances, with Jack Mackreth drawing a superb save out of Stanley keeper Joseph Bursik before Josh Amis had a headed goal disallowed for a foul.
