DECLAN Patton has been handed a caution by the RFL’s Match Review Panel.
The Wire half-back was cited for a trip on Hull KR full-back Adam Quinlan during the 16-14 defeat at KCOM Craven Park on Saturday.
The panel ruled the 24th-minute incident was reckless and/or reactionary and worthy of a caution but not a penalty notice.
Patton also had another potential trip reviewed – from the 19th minute on George Lawler – but faces no further action on that incident.
Meanwhile, Rovers skipper Joel Tomkins has been cleared of any wrongdoing following his late tackle on Wire stand-off Blake Austin.
The 10th-minute tackle sparked a flare-up with players from both sides getting involved but the panel have deemed the penalty awarded by referee James Child as sufficient punishment.
A potential instance of dangerous contact on Ben Currie by Owen Harrison in the 35th minute was also reviewed but the Robins man has not been punished.
