Leeds Rhinos u19 58 Warrington Wolves u19 0
PAUL Anderson has called on his Warrington Wolves under 19s players to learn lessons from their thrashing at the hands of Leeds Rhinos on Saturday.
The second-place hosts, who fielded a highly-experienced side, ran riot and scored 11 tries in total to inflict a heaviest defeat of the campaign upon the young Wire.
Anderson admitted his side were bettered in all aspects of the contest as they aim to bounce back with a trip to Wakefield Trinity on Saturday.
“It was a difficult afternoon for us all but one that we will learn from,” he said.
“Leeds were better than us in all aspects and they took their opportunities.
“We have a trip to Wakefield Trinity next Saturday and we will be looking forward to that challenge.”
Kick off on Saturday is at 12noon.
Wolves: Joe Kohe-Love; Liam Brinksman, Ellis Longstaff, Cole Oakley, Aaron Pimblett; Riley Dean, David Gibbons; Morgan Burgess, Padraig Anglin-Sheedy, Jacob Chamberlain, Tayler Brown, Connor Wrench, Jack Wright. Subs: Sam Thackeray, Jacob Gannon, Daniel Harper, Eribe Doro
