PAUL Carden has handed Warrington Town a major boost by agreeing a new contract with the club.
The Town boss has penned a one-year extension to his current deal, tying him to the club until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Since taking over in October 2016, Carden has led Yellows to consecutive third-place finishes in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and came within one game of promotion to the National League North earlier this month as they were beaten by King's Lynn Town in the 'super play-off.'
He is also led Town to extended runs in the FA Cup and FA Trophy in the past two seasons.
"I'm delighted that Paul has agreed an extra year," chairman Toby Macormac said.
"Hopefully, one of them will be spent in the National League North."
