THE Wire made it back-to-back Super League defeats as they slipped to a miserable home loss to Salford Red Devils.
Blake Austin and Bryson Goodwin were their try-scorers but it was a miserable afternoon for Steve Price's men.
They were second-best to a superb display from the Red Devils, for whom Krisnan Inu kicked four penalty goals.

@WG_Sport horrendous from Wire. To many penalties, too many missed tackles, what’s going on with the passes going nowhere, Patton lost, Atkins horrendous, no direction. No passing through the hands just up the middle going nowhere.
