GREENALLS PSO and Daten will meet in the Cheshire Football League President’s Cup quarter finals next week.
The neighbours will clash at Long Lane on Tuesday after Ben McWilliams’ penalty earned Greens a 1-0 win at Malpas on Saturday.
The Atoms secured their progress two days earlier by beating Garswood United A on penalties – Daten won the shoot-out 6-5 after the tie ended 1-1.
Greens returned to Premier Division action on Tuesday night but were beaten 1-0 at Knutsford.
Meanwhile, Eagle Sports took a big step towards ensuring a third-place finish with a 3-2 win over Whaley Bridge Athletic.
Luke Sutton struck a brace for Eagle at Thornton Road, with their other goal being scored by Ed Burthem.
In League One, Moore United have slipped perilously close to the bottom after gaining one point from two matches this week.
Tuesday’s 4-0 loss at Garswood United followed a 1-1 draw with bottom side Golborne Sports – who are now just one point behind them – on Saturday.
