STEVE Price admits St Helens "wanted it more" than his Warrington Wolves side after watching them fall to their heaviest loss of the season.
The Wire conceded six tries - two of them while Mike Cooper was in the sin bin - to fall to a 38-12 defeat at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Blake Austin and Daryl Clark tries were immaterial as Wolves surrendered Super League's top spot.

Saints were 8-6 up when Cooper was yellow-carded for a high tackle on Danny Richardson, and tries from Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Jonny Lomax while Wire were down to 12 men gave them a decisive advantage.
Price admits those two tries "deflated" his side.
"We got dominated in a lot of areas tonight," he said.
"Credit to St Helens. They beat us offensively and defensively.
"We'll get some good stuff out of that tonight.
"The quick tries they scored when Mike Cooper was in the sin bin deflated us a little bit.
"We came back out after half time and were doing really well to get back within eight but they got the try from the bomb not long after that.
"They ran harder, they tackled harder and wanted it more. It's as simple as that."
Price also confirmed Ben Murdoch-Masila will go for a scan on the ankle injury that ended his game early.
The second rower hobbled off and the Wire boss said the full extent of the injury will not be known until the swelling has subsided.
