Crosfields 38 Hull Dockers 18

CROSFIELDS will take heart from a comeback as they prepare to host table toppers Ince Rose Bridge at Hood Lane on Saturday, kick-off 2.30pm.

Soap fell 10-0 behind before comprehensively overhauling Hull Dockers 38-18 at home at the weekend.

Victory over Ince, who are currently two points ahead of Crosfields in National Conference League Division Two, could see Ian Boden's side take over top spot - depending on points difference.

The Wiganers will comes to town with only the one loss to Hull Dockers so far this term.

And the Humbersiders showed for 65 minutes against Soap why they gave Ince problems.

Billy Sheen then made an instant impact with two tries in five minutes, both converted by Jack Reid.

A dropped ball from the restart allowed Hull to regain the lead shortly before the break and a penalty on 50 minutes extended the advantage to 18-12.

Sheen's converted hat-trick try, coming from a Reid chip kick, levelled matters.

Josh Whitty flew over in the corner to give Soap a 63rd-minute lead that they never lost.

Luke Walker crossed via an interception and John Whittaker's try capped the afternoon's result.
