ROKIA Farag led a superb Warriors of Warrington Swimming Club effort at the Liverpool long course Spring Open meet.

She dominated the 11-year girls’ age group by winning eight gold medals – the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly, 100m and 200m breaststroke, 200m and 400m freestyle and the 200m individual medley – as well as a silver and a bronze in freestyle and breaststroke races respectively.

In the same age group, Isabella Thornton and Gabriella Hunt also won golds – with the latter also adding a silver and a bronze – as did George Daintith and Joe Ashley for the boys.

Ronnie Weall, Sophie Weston and Millie Ravenscroft were the club’s other gold medal winners, with plenty of silver and bronze medals to go with them.
