Capenhurst 36 Moore 40
BY sensationally overhauling a 19-point deficit, Moore were able to keep alive their hopes of promotion.
They trailed hosts Capenhurst 24-5 at one point but came back to record a stunning victory.
Matt Bradshaw scored a try and kicked five conversions as the Black and Golds remained third in North West Intermediate League Division Three South – six points behind leading pair Manchester and Anselmians.
Moore scored six tries in all, with James Foulstone, Jayson Biddle, Jack Harvey, Tony Fretwell and Sam Craven also crossing the whitewash for the visitors.
They now have a weekend off before welcoming Village Spartans to Moss Lane on Saturday, March 23.
