GREENALLS PSO’S winless streak in the Cheshire League Premier Division has stretched to four games after defeat on Saturday.
They went in level at half-time against Egerton thanks to Will Smith’s goal, but the hosts were clinical after the break and Greens found themselves 4-1 down.
Sol Delaney broke free and fired in a consolation, but it was too little, too late for the Long Lane outfit.
On Saturday, they make the short trip across town to Culcheth to face neighbours Daten, who by contrast are in fine form.
Jack Nolan and Joe Barker were on target for the Atoms in Saturday’s impressive 2-0 win at Poynton – their third Premier Division victory in a row.
Elsewhere, Chris Bruce was sent off for Eagle Sports as their JB Parker Challenge Cup campaign ended with a 2-0 semi-final defeat at FC St Helens.
