DARYL Clark's participation in England's Test series against New Zealand looks to be over.
Head coach Wayne Bennett confirmed the Warrington Wolves hooker suffered a significant rib injury in the 20-14 victory at Anfield.
Clark injured as England wrap up series win
Everyone associated with The Wire will hope Clark's injury is not serious and will not force him to miss the start of next season.
"Daryl Clark has a dislocated and fractured rib, which doesn’t look too good," Bennett said.
"That’s the only one that’s serious for us at the moment."
Clark played for around half an hour before being forced off in the early stages of the second half.
England were 12-6 down at that stage, but came back thanks to Tommy Makinson's hat-trick and a further try from Jake Connor.
