MAL Holt will remain at Woolston Rovers’ head coach for the 2019 season, the club have confirmed.
Holt, who took over following John Fieldhouse’s resignation in May, will be joined at Monks Sports Club by former Rylands Sharks joint-head coach Rob Campbell, who takes up a role as an assistant coach.
Dan Griffiths will join Holt and Campbell as part of the first-team coaching set up – continuing his role from last year – while Andy Penny remains in control of the club’s NWML team.
“The new look coaching set up is a huge step in the right direction for the club,” Holt said.
“Dan will continue where he left off last year as my assistant, a role that worked extremely well in the second half of the season.
“Rob has some great ideas that we are all looking forward to seeing incorporated into our play.
“We will be pushing for promotion for both sides next season, and we are all looking forward to a good pre-season.”
