DARYL Clark managed to make himself unpopular with his neighbours by helping Warrington to beat St Helens in last week’s playoff semi-final.
The hooker lives in the Merseyside town, but was more than happy to play the villain for his fellow residents.
He said: "I live just the other side of Burtonwood so I don’t do a lot of walking round St Helens, but it was a good feeling.
"I’d seen a few people throughout the week who were telling me we were going to get beat, so I’ve been walking around with a smile on my face since."
