WARRINGTON Wolves' Ben Murdoch-Masila is one of five Super League-based players to have been included in Tonga's 29-strong squad for their historic Test against Australia in Auckland on October 20.

He is joined by Hull forward Sika Manu, who led the Tongans to the last four of the 2017 World Cup, Catalans Dragons duo Samisoni Langi and Sam Moa, as well as Ukuma Ta'ai of Huddersfield.

There are also places for Leeds-bound stand-off Tuimoala Lolohea and former Hull winger Mahe Fonua as Tonga get ready for their first-ever meeting with the Kangaroos.

Injured Parramatta forward Manu Ma'u is the only player missing from the team that lost 20-18 to England in the semi-final in Auckland last November.

Head coach Kristian Woolf said: "We are very pleased with the depth in the squad we have managed to name for this very important Test match.

"We feel it is representative of the depth of Tongan rugby league in both the NRL and English Super League and also rewards players that have made a firm commitment to playing for their country of heritage."
