West Bowling 10 Crosfields 68
INTERIM head coach Ian Boden says Crosfields are “enjoying their rugby” after they made it back-to-back wins on Saturday.
Their ruthless, 14-try demolition of newly-promoted West Bowling was also their first away victory of the 2018 season and lifts them up to fifth in National Conference League Division Two.
Winger Dan Reid caught the eye with four tries, while John Whittaker, Nathan Taylor and Hayden James all ran in hat-tricks.
Kane Ditchfield was Soap’s other try-scorer, with skipper Jack Reid kicking six goals.
“We didn't sit back after last week’s win,” Boden said.
“We are still taking small steps at training and controlling our progression.
“The lads are enjoying their rugby at the moment and its showing.”
Soap’s next game sees them welcome second-placed Askam to Hood Lane on Saturday, May 12.
