STEVE Price admits he has a few selection headaches as his Wire side prepare to host Wakefield Trinity tomorrow, Friday, kick off 7.45pm.
Wolves go into the game on the back of their most convincing performance of 2018 to date – a 26-0 win at Catalans Dragons on Saturday.
Everyone who featured in Perpignan is fit and available for selection, but new signing Josh Charnley has been added to the mix alongside Ryan Atkins, who has recovered from an abductor muscle injury.
With Ben Currie and Dom Crosby also nearing returns, Price says difficult decisions lie ahead for him as his side attempt to put together a consistent run of form.
However, The Wire boss says he will “reward” players who have been performing well for him.
“You want your best players knocking the door down,” he said.
“From my perspective, I want our best players available and giving me headaches about selection.
“Having said that, I’ll reward players who put in good performances.
“We haven’t done anything yet. We want to be a top-four footy team and it’s important that we start putting in consistent performances back-to-back.”
“Catalans was one of our better performances, to be honest.
“The conditions over there were quite difficult, but I was really pleased with our application.
“We understand that we still need to get better, but it was a positive display and hopefully we can continue to build on that.”
