SEVERAL riders from Warrington Road Club have been enjoying success in recent weeks.
For the third year in a row, Steve Hilton broke his own Club 25 record as he clocked 50mins 37secs on the R25/3H course in Wales, beating his previous mark by 10 seconds.
The veteran still has more personal bests in his sights as he looks to beat his 10 and 50-mile times in the final stages of the season.
Fellow veteran David Wright put himself in prime position for silverware at the NLTTA 100-mile Championships in the Lake District.
The Great Sankey rider clocked 4hours 11mins 55secs, the fastest 100-mile time from a WRC member, and is set to win the 100-mile Ron Spencer Trophy for his efforts.
Phil Wood won his category at the Aniva Road Race in Russia while a bit closer to home, Paul Gibson finished fourth overall in the Audlem Race Series.
