DARYL Clark is expected to be back in action for Wolves before the end of the season, Tony Smith has confirmed.
The hooker came off during The Wire’s 52-24 victory over Catalans Dragons on Saturday with a knee injury.
Smith confirmed Clark had cartilage damage that needed “a tidy-up” but says he will feature later on in the Middle 8s.
In further injury news, Matty Russell is set to be fit for Saturday’s game against Halifax after suffering a back injury against the Dragons.
Mike Cooper (oblique) is described as “touch and go,” while Joe Westerman and Ben Pomeroy are expected to return for the game at London Broncos on September 2.
