GREENALLS PSO and Eagle Sports both recorded crucial victories in the battle to avoid relegation from the Cheshire Premier Division.
Ben McWilliams and Ellis Houghton gave Greenalls a 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Rudheath Social, while Gareth Williams and Gerrard McAllister were on the scoresheet for Eagle in their 2-0 win over Malpas at Thornton Road.
In League One, Warrington Town Reserves strengthened their grip on top spot as goals from Dylan Glass and Jack Richards gave them a 2-1 win over second-placed Pilkington.
A clash of neighbours failed to produce any goals as Daten shared the spoils with Grappenhall Sports.
Meanwhile, Rylands Reserves recorded a 2-0 win over Wythenshawe Town’s development squad in the President’s Cup.
