WOOLSTON Rovers held a head injuries workshop at the University of Chester Warrington Campus.
The session, run by the Rugby Football League’s Andy Lindley and arranged with the help of Warrington Wolves head of youth Phil Jones, was attended by more than 40 Rovers players, coaches and parents from all of the club's age groups.
A Rovers spokesperson said: “We are very proud of the pro-active way that we address crucial issues at the club; the welfare of our players is of the utmost importance."
Lindley gave a presentation to explain the risks of concussion and other head injuries, and gave advice on the best way to prevent any serious consequences by informing everybody of the potential signs of any evidence of trauma to the head and how to deal with any issues that do occur.
