WHILE the nation is tucking into Christmas dinner leftovers, Warrington Town will be gearing up for their latest test in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
They are back in action this afternoon as they make the short trip to face Ashton United, kick off 3pm.
The game against The Robins will be the first of three games in seven days for Town, with home games against Spennymoor and Marine to follow.
Yellows boss Paul Carden, whose side are currently four points outside the play-off places in tenth will hope to use the game as a springboard to keep pace with the league’s promotion places.
Carden will be without midfielder Sean Williams as he recovers from a chipped bone in his foot, but striker Ben Deegan could make his first appearance since breaking his jaw in October.
