GLAZEBURY saw their four-match winning run in Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division One brought to a shuddering halt at Maritime on Saturday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Sam Stanier’s side would have hoped to build a large total but the Maritime bowlers restricted them to 197-8 from their allotted overs.
In reply, the hosts reached their target for the loss of four wickets to seal a comfortable victory.
Glazebury will look to bounce back when they welcome third-placed Audlem to Hurst Lane on Saturday.
