WARRINGTON Town have the chance to increase their lead at the table’s summit to nine points tonight, Monday.
The Yellows, who beat second-placed Northwich Victoria 4-2 on Saturday, head to Brighouse Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North.
With Vics in Cheshire Senior Cup action this week, Shaun Reid’s side have the chance to put three wins between them and the Trickies, albeit leaving their nearest rivals five games in hand.
But the Town boss will be happy to have points on the board having witnessed his side blow excess games in the promotion hunt in previous seasons.
Brighouse currently occupy 10th spot, and Town head to the Yorkshire outfit looking to make it 10 wins in their past 11 league games.
