NOW is the last chance saloon for some Warrington Town players who are aiming to be retained for next season in the restructured UniBond League First Division.
Manager Ian Street was unhappy with the team's showing in the 3-1 home defeat to Harrogate Railway Athletic on Saturday and the previous week's 1-0 home win against Gresley.
And he said this week: "I have been very disappointed with the last two results and performances.
"Not enough players are showing the right attitudes at the moment.
"I think we are finally feeling the length of the season now with a few tired bodies, while the amount of new faces that are having to come into the team at times sometimes doesn't help.
"Individually we have good players but we are not producing a team performance for long enough periods in games.
"We are building for next year and at the moment I would say there is only a handful of the current crop of players that have done enough to be retained for next season.
"We now need and want to win our two remaining home games against Rossendale on Saturday and then Bridlington the following Saturday to finish off this campaign on a good note."
Chris Jackson will probably come back into the squad for the Rossendale game, kick-off 3pm, after resting his injured ankle for a few weeks.
