WARRINGTON Swimming and Water Polo Club players made their mark at regional championships.
Girls aged 15 and under that were selected for the north west came away from Liverpool with winners and runners-up medals.
North West Lightening, featuring Katie Bowater and Emma Horne, won an event that fielded sides from the north east, the south west and Ireland.
And North West Thunder, including Emily Bowater, came second as the area's strength in the sport was proven.
Warrington's Molly Boniface-Ashton would have competed but due to hamstring problems had to remain poolside as assistant to the team manager.
Ben Dailey, Luke Atkinson, Dominic Richard, Conor Lynch and Brett Takemoto have also been selected to play for the north west in the Inter Regional Championships in Cardiff.
