LATCHFORD progressed in the Lancashire Cup with tries from player of the match Joe Craven, top tackler Charlie Groarke, parents' award winner Matt Guy and coach's award winner Billy Cannon. Sam Ball kicked four conversions. Latchford are now in the second round.

GOAL kicking once again proved crucial for the Sharks as they claimed a narrow victory. Player of the match Leon Hayes, coach's award winner Liam Argent, Dylan Rowe and Hatty Dogus crossed for tries, all of which were converted by Hayes, Rowe, Mason Gamble and Bayley Colledge. A big effort in defence from Nathan Price saw him named top tackler.

SHARKS and Rovers played out an entertaining exhibition game as part of the Chris Bridge Testimonial fun day. There was plenty of good rugby on show from both sides, with Rylands' tries coming from their player of the match Thomas Ashurst, two, coach's award winner Max Myers-Davies, two, top tackler Charlie Yeomans and Ciaran Card sealing a Rylands victory.

MAN of Steel Connor Barton ran in five of the 10 Sharks tries as they won at Chorley. Other scores came from Morgan Morris, three, Charlie Fairbrother and Trystan Gibson. Kian Finn was named player of the match, while coach's player went to Jack Leicester and parents' player was Ben Gwilliam. Bobby Burrill claimed the top tackler award, with Jayden Nicholas taking the core skills award and Danny Tickle the leadership qualities award.

PLAYER of the Match Alfie O'Garra led from the front with a try for the Sharks in an impressive team performance. Ciaran Card, two, coach's award Winner Thomas Ashurt, Dominic Jevons, Fin Yeomans, Charlie Yeomans, Logan Trownson and Max Myers-Davies added Rylands' other tries, with Charlie Robinson taking the top tackler award.

PLAYERof the Match Harlie Barlow scored early to get Sharks off to a flying start and they never looked back. Freddie Ball and Oscar Rattigan also crossed for tries, with Alfie Rattigan adding a double to share the coach's award with Toby McGucken. Seb Baty was rewarded for his defensive efforts as top tackler.
