grey-area: We look clueless in attack. Spending so much time on their try line and no points is very poor. I even thought they should kick for 2 penalty points to at least keep the scoreboard moving.
Facebook:
Jayne O’Dea: The youth that have been brought through the ranks were outstanding - grass roots rugby all the way- so much talent here wasting money on imports(over here for a payday and to pass on experience) give home grown talent a chance
Mike Davies: Dwyer. Awesome
Post-match press conference:
Tony Smith: “When you’re up against a good defensive team it takes some time to break them down and Salford were good on this occasion – they were working for each other and having a real dig.
“We had to reshuffle players into different positions and we weren’t absolutely fluent but I liked the fact that we didn’t panic.
“We showed a fair amount of composure, whereas in other games I think we’ve grown disheartened when we haven’t scored from sets.”
