FORMER Woolston Rovers players turned out in numbers for a past versus present match as part of the club's charity day in aid of Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.
The ‘present’ side triumphed 48-26 in a very competitive game played in a fantastic spirit.
Rovers' charity day was a huge success, with hundreds going along to a sun drenched Monks Sports Club.
The day commenced with Woolston Rovers Golds under 10s entertaining Westhoughton Lions in a high quality game.
Warrington Wolves star Ashton Sims presented the medals to every youngster who took part.
Woolston have issued thanks to all who offered support.
