CROSFIELDS went down at Hood Lane to a strong Leigh East A outfit.
The writing was on the wall early on, as the visitors settled down more quickly and were soon on the score sheet.
They were three tries up before Crosfields got into gear.
Tries from Nathan Taylor and Ryan Connolly, both converted by Sam Hickey, put them back in the game, but two late tries from the visitors secured victory at 26-12.
Man of the match went to Jordon Thomason, supported by Danny Lee and Andrew Campbell.
