TONY Smith has given an injury update after Warrington Wolves’ loss to St George Illawarra Dragons in the World Club Series.
Stefan Ratchford was not picked in the 17, after being named in the 19-man squad, and could be out for a few weeks with the shoulder injury suffered at Hull FC.
Anthony England and Rhys Evans also picked up injuries during the game.
“Wednesday he trained and pulled out, Stef, it was unfortunate for him,” said Smith. “He’s been in great form, but that happens hopefully we won’t lose him for long.
“Anthony England was destructive when he came on, and unfortunately he’s suffered an elbow injury and could be a little while for that one.
“(Evans) he’s got a bit of a shoulder injury, I don’t think it’s going to be real bad, but enough.”
