Warrington 2nd 13 Rossendale 2nd XV 22
MANAGER Stu Coleman hopes his Warrington side can return to winning ways in January after defeat to Rossendale on Saturday saw them drop to fourth in the North West League's Division One.
The hosts are four points behind leaders Lymm.
”This was not one of our best days,” said Coleman. “However, we are looking forward to returning to winning ways in the New Year.”
Rossendale took the lead with a converted try and added another after Warrington replied with a penalty from Ben Hockenhull.
Dan Griffiths then sliced through, brushing off an attempted tackle for a score converted by Hockenhull.
A penalty gave the visitors a seven-point lead at the break, one they furthered after despite another Hockenhull kick.
