WARRINGTON and District League side Grange FC progressed in the Northern Rail Cup courtesy of a 3-1 win at Goose Green United.
Grange comfortably led the Wigan and District League side 2-0 at half time, with both goals coming fromJake Shaw.
Goose pulled one back midway through the second half before being killed off by a late goal from Liam Burke on his first-team debut. Player-manager Roy Sweeney was delighted that Grange have finally got the result he feels their hard work deserves after dominating many of the season's early games.
