PUPILS at Lymm High School enjoyed an inspiring visit from a European gold medallist as part of Sky Sports Living for Sport project.
Judoka Sophie Cox, a Youth Sport Trust mentor, shared her experiences and helped pupils plan activities including a sports day for local primary schools.
PE teacher Jenny Ball said: “The students loved hearing Sophie’s story and sharing their experiences of their project with her.
“Most importantly, our young people have learned first-hand that sport can teach them so much.”
Cox added: “I came away from Lymm High School feeling incredibly inspired by the commitment of the young people I met.”
