WOOLSTON Rovers A entertain Oldham St Annes this Saturday in North West Men’s League Division Two.
Rovers A were defeated at Leigh Miners Rangers A in the NWML Trophy Quarter Final last time out but will be looking to bounce back against St Annes.
“We were disappointed to go out of the Cup last Thursday but I cannot fault the efforts of the players,” said Rovers' head coach Chris Ball.
“We started well and took an early lead but we were unable to sustain our superiority and Miners deservedly won.
“We will now be hoping to get back to winning ways in the league against an Oldham side that have been involved in several high scoring games of late including a 50-40 defeat at home to Accrington Panthers last time out.”
