Lymm Ladies 6
Winnington Park Ladies 3
LYMM took control with two early goals, first from Megan Wilkin after Ash Jackson’s driving run and then thanks to an own goal.
The hosts failed to capitalise on their initial advantage, allowing Winnington to fight back with a penalty flick and two further strikes in open play to lead 3-2.
Having looked dangerous every time they attacked, the hosts hit back with an equaliser via captain Lisa Hartley-Woodrow.
Efforts from Nat Riley and Hollie Acklam settled the outcome.
Sitting nine points clear at the Cheshire Women’s League summit with three games remaining, Lymm are almost certain of securing automatic promotion to the North League for next season.
