NEW Warrington Snooker League Division Two leaders Grappenhall Ex-Servicemen C took a 6-1 win at Richmonds B and lead Culcheth Sports B, who won 4-3 at Deaf Social A, by two.
GESM B continue to climb the table after they won the derby with GTBL B 5-2, Andy Coulthard having a 45 break for the winners.
Newton Social B regained Division One top spot thanks to breaks of 69 from Danny Thomas and 30 from Steve Critchley in a 4-3 win over Alford D.
Second place Richmonds A slipped up at Newton Social A losing 4-3, while Roosters C hold third place after a black ball 4-3 win against Rylands A – in-form Mike Jordan enjoying a 47 break for Rylands.
The game of the night came in Division Three where the top two met as Kings Club C ended Penketh Cons A’s winning run, beating them 4-3 to lead by three.
Third place is held by Kings Club A, who won their derby fixture with Kings Club B 5-2 to leave to move six points of the pace but with a game in hand on the top two.
