SATURDAY'S Mid-Cheshire Soccer League action was disrupted by the weather.

Warrington Town Reserves' Division Two game at Whitchurch was abandoned at half time due to a waterlogged pitch.

The score was 0-0 at that point and Greenalls felt the game should should never have started.

Also in Division Two, Fearnhead defeated Monk FC 7-3, while in Division One basement strugglers Rylands lost 2-0 at home to third-placed Pilkingtons.
