Division One Champions Knutsford ended their season on a high as they hit six past Middlewich Town.

Lee Mannion (2) Carlos Edmondson, Dean Warburton, Mike Schofield and Lee Shakoor.

Whaley Bridge finished their season with a 1-1 draw at Gamesley followed by a 6-2 win at home against Billinge.

Damien Morrison bagged twice, while Dan Christie, George Burgess and Lee Morris also hit home.

Whaley are in second place but have an uncomfortable wait to see if they finish as runners up as Eagle Sports could still overtake them once their games in hand have been played.

Eagle Sports made it five wins from five in their busy schedule as they travelled to local rivals Greenalls PSO.

A dominant first half performance from the visitors saw them take a 2-0 lead into the break through goals from Richard Chinn and Chris Quirk.

Danny Toone pulled one back for Greenalls after the restart but a spot kick from Adam Coleman soon restored Eagle's two goal lead and the visitors comfortably saw out the rest of the game.

Styal took a one goal lead through Joel Browhill as they travelled to Eagle Sports but second half goals from Ged McAllister and Stuart Welstead secured another win for Eagle to earn three valuable points in their quest for second place.

Eagle now have three games left to play and they currently sit four points behind Whaley Bridge.

Linotype CHN had a difficult week as they lost 2-1 at home to Crewe where Carl Everall scored both goals, which was followed up with a 4-2 defeat away at Pilkington.

Chris March bagged a hat trick with Pilkington's other goal coming from Karl Elias. This finished a good week for Pilkington who beat Denton Town 3-0 mid week.

Garswood United beat Rylands 2-0 in their penultimate game of the season through first half goals from Danny Clarke.

Tuesday night saw Greenalls PSO beat a young Denton Town side 1-0 through a 7th minute goal from captain Mark Hughes, while Eagle Sports moved to within a point from second place with a 2-0 home win over Pilkington.

Division Two Barnton were made to work hard for their title as they beat Golborne Sports 5-4 in an end to end battle which saw Barnton crowned as Division Two Champions.

A brace each from Kev Towey and Allan Glover gave Barnton a 4-1 lead at the break and Towey completed his hat trick soon after the restart. Golborne looked much improved second half and brought the score back to 5-4 through Rob Hunt and Scott Walker to set up a tense finale for the Northwich side.

Rudheath Social continued their quest for second place as they beat Sandbach United 4-1 when Nick Newman, Mike Brandon and Gary and Jack Bryning all hit home. Rudheath managed to secure second place on Saturday without kicking a ball as Runcorn Town Reserves beat Poynton 3-1 to end their hopes of promotion.

Tarporley Victoria climbed up to eighth with a 3-1 win at home against Moore United where Dan Haralambous, Tom Kershaw and Al Moore all hit home.

Tuesday night saw Rudheath finish their season on a high as they beat Tarporley 3-1 despite Richard Moss giving the home side a 1-0 lead at half time. Poynton can now finish the season in third if they win their remaining game in hand after beating Sandbach United 2-1 in their penultimate game.

Reserve Division Greenalls PSO finished their season with a 1-1 draw with second place Styal, while goals from Danny Nixon and Neil Waring secured Eagle Sports a 2-1 home win over Poynton. Saturdays's 4-1 win for Styal over Barnton means Styal are a point ahead of Eagle Sports and second place will be decided when the two sides meet on the last day of the season.

It's been a tough week for Gamesley as they lost twice in two days, losing 2-0 at home against Middlewich Town before losing 4-1 at Garswood United where Mike Piling and Rob Smith both scored a brace.

Barnton beat Linotype CHN 2-1, while Whaley Bridge stormed to a 4-0 victory away at Billinge.

Denton Town climbed to 14th spot with two successive victories, firstly beating Golborne Sports 2-0, before going on to beat Linotype CHN 2-1 at home.
