WARRINGTON were unable to master the Upton bowling in a six-wicket defeat.
Matt Jackson, 21, Dipu Manta, 23, and Rishav Manta, 17, started well but none of them could convert their scores into a large total.
Warrington’s innings closed at 117 for 6.
Upton were too solid for the Warrington attack as Bruce Jardine, 2 for 19, and two 14-year-olds – Tom Fagan-Hall, 1 for 19, and Tom Higham, 1 for 11 – brought the home side some reward.
Upton paced their innings right for victory.
