Doncaster u19 15

LYMM’S senior colts brought down the curtain on their wildly successful season by being crowned Raging Bull Cock O’ The North winners for the third consecutive year on Sunday.

As a result, Lymm end the season unbeaten and with all four trophies available to them at the start of the season in the bag, becoming the most successful team in the competition’s history.

Doncaster arrived in Middles-brough with a formidable record of their own, having gone unbeaten to claim the Yorkshire title.

Indeed, they set out their stall early with a try oon the back of Lymm’s persistent penalty concession, though that only proved to liven Lymm up.

They pulled a try back thanks to Jake Lester, converted by Rhys Jones, before confirming their advantage when Lester doubled his tally after James Kimber’s break.

Doncaster had a man yellow-carded, but Lymm’s indiscipline prevented them from taking advantage.

The Yorkshiremen fought back in the second half, punishing Lymm’s yellow card by turning the score around and opening a 15-12 lead.

But Lymm were not about to go down without a fight, and they showed excellent determination to send Nathan Strong and Cam McMaster over for the match-winning tries.
