Westhoughton Lions 20
Latchford Albion A 12
INJURIES took their toll on Latchford in Saturday’s North West Men’s League Division Four encounter.
Two of their 15 available players carried injuries into the game against Westhoughton Lions, while three ended up sidelined after Albion pulled the deficit back to 12-6 with a converted try from Mal Mason.
After a brawl Mason was off the field for the final 10 minutes and it was then that West-houghton secured their victory.
Latchford played with great spirit, with Yearsley, Bishop, Davies and Mason the stand-out performers.
