FOUR Warrington Dolphins swimmers clocked up the miles in an outdoor pool in freezing air temperatures.
Jo Norton Barker, Michaela Richard, Jo Carter and Pam Kay notched up 59 miles between them at Guildford Lido, taking on the brutal challenge of swimming a mile every hour up to a maximum of 24 hours each.
They raised funds for the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund in doing so.
Norton Barker led the way with 19 miles, followed by Richard, 15, Carter, 15, and Kay, 10.
Graeme Atherton, Russell Mason and Judy Brown were in action at the Midland Masters event at Leamington Spa.
They came away with 13 medals between them, Brown leading the way with four golds and one silver.
