Warrington Town Youth 3
Curzon Ashton 1

TOWN completed their league and cup winning season with their 10th consecutive win in front of a bumper crowd and Clr Steve Wright, the Mayor of Warrington.

The North West Alliance Premier Division title and cup were already in the bag from the previous weekend, but Chris Wells’ men signed off in style.

Curzon hit the crossbar after only two minutes but Town quickly stamped their authority on the game when Dylan Glass opened the scoring on six minutes with his 16th league goal of the season.

The prolific Chris Bandell chipped in with two goals in quick succession in the second half.

Bandell’s second goal gave him an impressive tally of 26 goals from 26 league starts across two seasons.

Curzon scored a consolation goal on the break just before the end but that did not dampen the celebrations.

Town: Tony Vaughan, Matt Cook, Nick Chambers (Tom Everson 74mins), Ben Graham, George Emson, Ryan Cunliffe, Oliver Wells (Chris Bibby 66mins), Andy Williams, Dylan Glass, Chris Bandell, Danny Bruce (Liam Turner 70mins). Subs not used: Tom Darlington, Nat McCarroll.

* Town are looking for a Warrington-based goalkeeper born between September 1, 1997, and August 31, 1998, to join the squad for training.
